Hydro-Mec Worm Gearbox Features
Hydromec worm gearboxes are manufactured using single piece aluminium alloy for the housing and special alloy steel for the input and worm shaft.
Features include oversized bearings, bronze alloy worm gears, high temperature Nitrile output seals coupled with options that include a range of flanges to IEC & NEMA standards, hollow output shaft, machined exterior surfaces to allow a variety of mounting positions place the Hydro-Mec worm gearbox at the forefront of technology and quality.
Suitable for use in both industrial and commercial environments.
Hydro-Mec Coaxial Gearbox Features
Hydro-Mec coaxial gearboxes use manufacturing features that allow use across multiple applications and industries whilst keeping to global standards on mounting footprints and environmental protections.
The alloy housing is vacuum impregnated to MIL-STD 276, and whilst no secondary finish is required, it will readily accept painting or other coatings. The removable cover allows periodic inspection and ease of routine maintenance.
The option to incorporate an extra seal, the use of high temperature materials and correct bearing sized proportioned to the output shaft once again sets the coaxial Hydro-Mec gearbox range apart from other manufacturers.
