Taper Lock Bushes
Taper lock bushes are used for mechanical joining of a shaft to a sprocket or a pulley. It is fastened tightly to the shaft via its tapered surface with the matching component. It provides flexibility between the main component to be suitable with many shaft sizes.
The taper lock bush incorporates a key-way and thread which are machined in accordance with ISO standards.
Other variances of standard taper lock bush is commonly refered to as a QTL tapered bush. This bush fits over the tapered hub and a tight fit is produced on the shaft by tightening the cap screws.
Removal is easily achieved by using the bolts screwed into the holes of the flange of the bushing and tightening.
