Round linear motion is exactly as it sounds incorporating round hardened and ground shafting with linear bushings and variuos housing configurations to suit.

The hardened and ground shafting comes in 2 common grades:
STB-2.... High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel.... Surface Hardness HRC60 - HRC64

SUS440C.... Martensitic Stainless Steel.... Surface Hardness HRC58 - HRC62

Both have a surface finish of 1.5um Rmax or less.

The most commonly stocked shafting is solid but there are options for hollow hardened shafting however please refer to your local branch for availabilty.

In Australia Metric sizing is most common but we can supply Imperial sizing in a limited range. Hardened shafts come in lenghts between 4-6M and can be cut to required lenghts at our premises before despatch.

Supported Shafting
Standard shafting can be mounted on supporting rail to provide rigidity and support to eliminate any potentail bending of the shafting. These are made from light weight aluminium alloy and provide a cost effective solution to other linear rail systems such as the profile rail system.
