WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - QLD COOPERS PLAINS

 

Job Summary

 

                    The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including
             shipping and receiving materials and finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.
         People management responsibilities include hiring and training,
 planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals,
addressing performance issues and resolving problems.

Trading hours are 8.00AM – 5.00PM.

 

            Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Supervise and assist in daily warehouse areas including;

     Filing and shipping customer orders
     Satisfying internal shipping requirements
      Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation
     Receiving incoming goods and routing to appropriate area or personnel,
      Packaging and receiving goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged
      Liasion with the Purchasing Department for cyclic counts and stock reconciliation.
      Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the warehouses activities.
     Developing and maintaining warehouse work instructions for all tasks.
      Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands.
      Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
      Recommending measures to improve quality of service and increasing efficiency of the warehouse.
      Conferring with the State Manager to coordinate activities of individuals.

 

Qualifications

 Previous Supervisory experience
      Ability to read and interpret documents such as OHS rules and regulations
      Operating and maintaining instructions, and procedure manuals.
    Ability to learn computer programs
    Ability to meet physical requirements such as standing, sitting and walking
throughout the day, repeated lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.
 Use of ladders and pallet jacks.
      Australian Forklift licence

VA Analyst / Data Collection Technician

This is a newly created position brought about by our continued expansion. It would suit a current VA Technician already working in the field as a data collector, database writer and analyst. Our software is MHM and primary unit is a CSI2130.

Interested applicants must demonstrate:

· 100% commitment to Safe Work Practices and Customer Service.

· A qualification in or equivalent to ISO VCAT. 2

· Current data analysis experience

· Firsthand knowledge of mining and industrial machinery / product flow

· Firsthand experience using a CSI 2120/2130 is a pre-requisite.

· Data Base writing in Machinery Health Manager is a pre-requisite

· Microsoft Office experience is essential

· FAG Detector 3 / Trend line experience would be an advantage

· An ability to liaise with apprentices/tradesmen & Engineers with confidence

· A current drivers licence is required

· Ability to organise / adapt work schedules

· A willingness to learn the bearing industry

· A willingness to travel

· Confidence in dealing with customers on site is essential on the current readings

· A knowledge of setting up an on-line monitoring centre would be an advantage

This is a Technical / VA / CM role that will add sales to our core business which is bearings and power transmissions.
